Our dream is to see churches empowered on a congregational journey that is both spiritual and strategic in nature. Your church is uniquely fit together by God to fulfill His divine purposes in your context. We desire to see your congregation moving toward fulfilling the Kingdom potential that is part of God’s redemptive plan. Imagine what could happen in your community if your church began being pulled forward by God’s future story of ministry for them as a congregation on mission. As your church lived into its Future Story of Missional Ministry as a congregational movement, you would see families restored, relationships mended, communities made whole, and eternal kingdom impact for years to come.
The Prism Journey for churches has three seasons: Spiritual Season, Strategic Season, and Journey Season. Each season lasts around 120 days, although the journey is really only beginning and is the ongoing aspect of the process.
Spiritual Season for Transitioning
This season is about the transition in the relationship of the congregation with God, one another in the congregation, and the context in which the congregation serves. The primary activity is 100 Days of Discernment.
Strategic Season for Changing
This season is about determining the changes that need to be made. The primary activity is crafting the Future Story of Missional Ministry of the congregation.
Journey Season for Transforming
This season is about taking the journey toward God’s full kingdom potential for your congregation. The primary activity is developing the Future Story Fulfillment Map and to begin living into the Future Story
Outcome
After embarking upon the Prism Journey, the congregation will possess a dynamic, ever-changing Future Story of what will characterize them for seven to ten years. Church leaders will possess a Future Story Fulfillment Map, an operational plan for the first one to three years, and a congregation committed to living into their Future Story.
Impact
The impact of the Prism Journey is not only clarity of direction and a purposeful future, but a congregation committed to living into their God-inspired direction and proactively aligning their programs, ministries, activities, and lives to fulfill the Future Story of Missional Ministry into their everyday contexts.
Readiness
Before the Prism Journey can begin, a congregation must determine their readiness for the process and the journey and their willingness and commitment to engage in the full process. In order to assess this the congregation engages in a Congregational Assessment and Learning Experience (CALE) Weekend.
